Anthony Perry

Growing up on Chicago’s North Shore, I have been working in customer service for as long as I have been able. In between sports seasons, I worked at Marshall Fields during the winter and caddied during the summer at Bob O’Link and Exmoor country clubs. Along the way, I learned the value of building relationships and exceeding client expectations. Following high school, I attended Ohio State where I studied Real Estate & Finance. Leveraging strong relationships I had previously built, I founded and managed a real estate company that purchased four student housing buildings on campus. After selling the properties as a senior and delivering a strong return to my investors, I used my proceeds to travel solo around the world for 6 months.

Before joining the family firm, I worked for a private equity commercial real estate company where I sourced acquisitions and managed industrial and office properties across the Midwest. After a few years, my father founded A. Perry Homes and started assembling the most fabulous design-build team in the industry. I started in the mail room, assisted with punch lists & warranty items, and did anything I could to contribute.

I currently lead business development, and along with Kent DeReus, manage the day-to-day operations of the company. As a licensed real estate broker with @properties, I assist new clients in finding the perfect lot or tear-down property to build their dream home or house with good bones to renovate and make their own. I’m especially proud of the various real estate joint ventures that my clients have entrusted my firm to partner on over the years that have resulted in substantial win-win outcomes. I’m highly driven to ensure that every A. Perry team member provides a stellar client experience to create as many raving fans as possible.

I live in Libertyville in the ‘Libertyville Modern Mountain Organic’ which I was lucky to have custom-built by the company. I’m blessed to be supported by with my amazing wife of 10 years, Amy, and my two daughters Maya & Brenna. When I’m not enjoying family time with my ladies, I try to stay active to minimize my ever-growing dad bod. I’ve also become a bit of a golf gear head and much to my own surprise, I enjoy the satisfaction that comes with completing tasks in my home garden.
